Club of the week: WBIM-FM

Special to the Comment
WBIM-FM Bridgewater is a student run college radio station at Bridgewater State University. As one of the last student run stations in the country, we take great pride in what we do. WBIM-FM Bridgewater aims to provide students the opportunity to have a say in what is played on the air and provide services to the campus, such as offering entertainment for campus events.
If you are a communications major with an interest in radio, this is definitely the club for you. Not only do you connect with other students with the same interests and musical tastes, you gain real world experience with being on the air and can start to find your “Radio Voice.” We have plenty of members who are aviation majors, biology majors, English majors, and more, who love being here because they meet other students who have similar tastes. Many friendships have been formed in our station. People also have a safe environment to express themselves and their music to the college campus.
The station is open every day of the week from 8AM-11PM. DJs do their shows during their assigned show times throughout the week.
While we are closed to new interns for the Fall semester at this point, but please feel free to email our Program Director Chris Boudreau to get details about joining us in the Spring. He can be reached at wbimpd@gmail.com.
