Better Bean Coffee Co. takes your local coffee shop to the next level. Walk into this little nook and you’re instantly greeted with a cozy warm atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to sip on a latte with a friend, or change up your daily lunch routine. And with free wifi, it may be your new favorite place to get work done.
Whether you’re looking for a quick iced coffee, warm apple cider, or even a Café Americano, this place has it all. And if employee Kriste is serving you, you can even expect some latte art when you’re sipping on that delicious Mint Mocha.
Don’t forget pastries. Biscottis, fresh bakery donuts, muffins, and danishes are offered as well.
If you’re craving something that your stomach will love you for, then you must have a Better Bean sandwich. Manager Joe Silva each day buys fresh produce for his deluxe sandwiches, ranging from your basic deli meats to various veggie subs.
Everything is made to order, giving you room to get creative (like extra avocado, yum). Silva says they are planning to add more to their menu. Soon breakfast sandwiches, paninis, and hot sandwiches will be available.
When asked, Silva recommended their most popular item: The Californian. It’s a perfect combination of thinly shredded smoked turkey, tomatoes, avocado, romaine lettuce, swiss cheese, mayo and an herb vinaigrette on a fresh French baguette. Easily my new favorite.
Not in the mood for a coffee with your sandwich? Teas, bottled juices, water and soda are offered as well.
Better Bean Coffee Co. is allergy and vegetarian friendly (make sure to tell them before you order). Prices for drinks are more expensive than a typical Dunkin Donuts coffee, yet the sandwiches are reasonable for their large size.
Think Starbucks meets Panera. All forms of payment are accepted: cash, debit and credit. Silva is currently working on acceptance of Flex Dollars on BSU Connect Cards. It’s located at 23 Central Square, just a few minutes walk off campus.

New MCU Movie Lost a Stinger

When I saw that there was going to be a third installment in the Ant-Man franchise, my first question was: who asked for this? Regardless, I was still looking forward to it because I enjoy Paul Rudd’s (he/him) character and I typically appreciate any new editions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), however, Ant-Man and […]
