Well Ladies, it’s that wonderful time of year, when we prepare for holiday shopping, cooking, and parties. It’s tough enough to keep on a budget on gifts for everyone on your shopping list, let alone trying to find the perfect outfits for upcoming parties and get-togethers.
However, there are many effective ways to save money on the perfect holiday look. Before you head out on a shopping spree, there are some important things to keep in mind.
The first thing you should do is to check your daily planner. See how many upcoming events you’ll be attending. This will give you an idea of how many outfits you need to put together.
After making your RSVPs, put together a budget on how much you want to spend for your winter party wardrobe. Most importantly, as you’re shopping for the perfect holiday look, keep within your budget. It doesn’t make sense to buy an adorable top for the same cost of three tops at another store.
The great thing about clothes is that there will always be similar pieces. The difference is that you find the one that fits your ideal budget. Stores like H&M, Forever21, and T.J. Maxx always have holiday deals and specials will help you keep up the latest trends and stay on your budget.
Now that we’ve discussed the important tips on how to save money on holiday outfits, let’s get inspired. Here, I have put together outfits that meets with a specific event, along with keeping up with the latest fashion trends.
No matter what holiday you and your family celebrates, the key is to find stylish outfits that are cute and comfortable. When visiting your family for the holidays, it is important to dress appropriately. The best way to pull off this look is finding a chunky or cableknit sweater and pairing it with a cute skater skirt, tights and boots.
After spending time with the fam, you’re going to want to go out to grab a drink with your friends or head on out to the next holiday party. This outfit can be completely versatile with a few tricks. All you have to do is put on a sexy top underneath the sweater and bring along a blazer. After you leave your family get together, just take off the sweater and put on the blazer. You can even change your shoes in order to accommodate your style.
On New Year’s Eve, shine bright like a diamond by adding a touch of sequins to your outfit. This sequins blazer I got for only $15 on Aliexpress.com goes perfectly with a button down blouse and black slim pants, to create a feminine tuxedo look. If you want to get a little girly, wear the blazer over a dress or a cute shirt and a bodycon skirt.
If you blow all your money on yourself and your wardrobe, you won’t have any extra cash to get them gifts to show them your appreciation. So, when you look at your holiday albums, you’ll love your outfits and love even more on how much you saved. Happy holidays.
