Men’s

  • Colin Jepson, Junior – Soccer

BSU’s men’s soccer program (13-2-1, 7-0 MASCAC) sits at first place in the conference. Behind goalkeeper Colin Jepson, BSU has won seven of eight games with the eighth being a 0-0 tie. Jepson has not let a goal by him since that streak started on Oct. 3. Jepsen has started all 16 games this season, allowing just nine goals and recording 64 saves.

Women’s

  • Allyson Pontes, Junior – Soccer

Pontes scored twice in a game against Fitchburg St. Eight minutes into play, Pontes beat a defender to take the lead. In a 1-1 match, she took advantage of the defender’s mistake and struck her second goal of the game which would be the game-winner. The junior midfielder had never scored a collegiate goal before her two goals in the 2015 Senior Day game.
