BSU Anime Club Annual Halloween Dance

The Anime Club’s annual Halloween Dance will take place on Friday, Oct. 30 from 7-10 p.m. in Burnell 132A. SGA will provide free food and drinks. WBIM will provide music. Costumes not required, but recommended.

Apply as a speaker for TEDxBSU 2016

The Student Government Association and Office of Student Involvement and Leadership at Bridgewater State University will host TEDxBSU on Feb. 22, 2016. This independently organized event is licensed by the same people who bring you TED talks.

Upcoming community service opportunities

The Community Service Center has room for students to join all their upcoming community service opportunities. Transportation is provided, you can sign up online here: https://my.bridgew.edu/departments/CommunityService/SitePages/One%20Time%20Volunteer%20Opps%20(Monthly).aspx.

On Oct. 29 and Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. students can sign up to volunteer with My Brother’s Keeper, a non profit organization that delivers furniture to families in need in the Fall River and New Bedford area’s. There are 5-7 spots left on each of these dates.

On Nov. 12 students can volunteer at The Table in Brockton, where lunch will be served to community members in need of a good meal. Transportation is provided, there are 6 more spots left on this trip.

Join Senior Ball committee

The Senior Ball Committee is responsible for planning and implementing the Senior Ball that takes place towards the end of the Spring semester. Also, the committee plan events to celebrate accomplishments and look back on memories as commencement day approaches for graduating seniors.
