Pats vs 49ers Recap

On Sunday, the Pats faced the San Francisco 49ers. They faced Tom Brady’s old backup Jimmy Garoppolo for the first time since being traded in 2017.

This was a very embarrassing game for the New England Patriots.

The game started with 49ers rushing touchdown in the 1st quarter which put them up 7-0.

In the 2nd quarter, the Pats kicked the field goal to make the game 7-3. Then the 49ers scored 2 touchdowns and a field goal just in the 2nd quarter to make the game 23-3.

In the 3rd quarter, Pats kicker Nick Folk kicked the field goal to make the game 23-6. The 49ers scored 10 more points in the 2nd half to seal the victory over the Pats. Cam Newton would be benched for Jarett Stidham in the 4th quarter.

Cam Newton threw 3 interceptions and Jarett Stidham threw his interception during his 1st attempt in the game.

This was their 3rd straight loss for the New England Patriots. This is reeling from Cam Newton being diagnosed with the Coronavirus four weeks ago.

What the Pats need to do is to have more chances at more real practices after they have been in more Zoom meetings due to the Pats outbreak.

Next week, the Patriots will be facing division leader Buffalo Bills at 1:00 on Sunday, but in these times dates and times are subject to change.
