NBA Midseason Report

The NBA Midseason point saw Team LeBron defeat Team Durant 163-160 in the 2022 All-Star game in Cleveland, Ohio on February, 20th. Team LeBron ended up winning a total of $450,000 for the Kent State I Promise Scholars Program, and Team Durant won $300,000 for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
But behind the charity was the performance of Golden State Warriors Point Guard Stephen Curry. Curry had himself a night, finishing the game with 50 points, five rebounds, and two assists. The main event was Curry’s 16 three-point field goals, where he broke the record for most three-pointers in a single game in NBA History. Curry was named the All-Star MVP saying, “It’s pretty special. Being back in Ohio playing with the best guys in the league and celebrating the highest level of basketball.”
During the game, Celtics Small Forward Jayson Tatum was handed the microphone, and Reggie Miller asked how the Celtics have been able to turn it around.
“I think first and foremost is our health,” said Tatum. “You know I think the last month and a half is the healthiest we’ve been all season. At first, we had a new coach, new staff, a new group of guys [and] you know we didn’t gel as fast as people probably expected. [But] it’s a long season and we peak at the right time, it’ll be alright.”
The Boston Celtics started the season on not the best note as the C’s were blowing leads and losing close games. But since January 1st, they’re 19-8 and have figured it out by playing some good basketball.
At the time of writing, the Celtics are sixth in the Eastern Conference, and Boston fans are eager to see what the star duo of Tatum and Jaylen Brown can produce.
