Celtics Strom into NBA Playoffs

The highly anticipated 2022 NBA playoffs are finally here! The regular season was full of surprises, big trades, and several thrills, but now is the time for the players to lock in since only one team will lift the Larry O’Brien trophy.

At the time of writing, the play-in tournament has yet to happen, which will feature the Brooklyn Nets facing the Cleveland Cavaliers in a fight for the seventh seed, while the Atlanta Hawks will face the Charlotte Hornets, and whoever wins this game will then move on to play the loser of Nets vs. Cavs to see who will secure the eighth seed. In the Western Conference, the Minnesota Timberwolves will match up against the Los Angeles Clippers in a battle for the seventh seed. On the other side, the New Orleans Pelicans play the San Antonio Spurs and the same format will follow to find out who gets the eighth seed.
The Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and Memphis Grizzlies must all wait for the play-in tournament to conclude to find out who they will be playing against in the first round of the playoffs.

The Eastern Conference will see the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks facing off Demar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls however, the Bulls will be without their young, talented Point Guard Lonzo Ball as he recovers from a torn meniscus he suffered in January. Also, in the East, MVP candidate Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers will play against the Toronto Raptors.
In the Western Conference, The Golden State Warriors will hope to get their star Stephen Curry back from a sprained ligament in his foot in time to play the Denver Nuggets led by MVP candidate Nikola Jokić. Former NBA rookie of the year Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks go up against the Utah Jazz with the deadly duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.

This season’s NBA playoffs look like it will be another exciting time, as the best teams and players in the league will fight to win the NBA Finals when it’s all said and done.
