Deltarune’s Anniversary Comes With Good News!

Two weeks ago, on the 31 of October, 2024, Deltarune celebrated its sixth anniversary just a month after Undertale’s anniversary. The anniversary came with some good news for the many players and fans of the game. In a tweet, Toby Fox, the creator of both Undertale and Deltarune, stated, “Chapters 3 & 4 will 100% come out in 2025. The specific time is relying on localization and console porting.”

This news has been met with great acclimation from the fandom, who eagerly await the next two chapters with bated breath. However, things have not been going quite so smoothly for Toby, as a new game maker has been causing issues for him, such as the LTS not recognizing saved files in specific scenarios using game_change.

Along with that, Mr. Fox has been working on chapter five every day and was planning to make the next newsletter in late December. Hopefully, he will make that deadline as well as sort out the issues with the programs he’s using. The Undertale and Deltarune community are willing to wait until everything is sorted out, and everyone is looking forward to the release of both chapters in 2025. All that anyone can do now is wish Toby good luck as he continues to work tirelessly with his team to get a full release of Deltarune coming soon.
