Ginny and Georgia season 3
Buckle up, peaches. Netflix just announced Season 3 of Ginny and Georgia. The new Season will air this summer and be streamed on Netflix.
The Netflix original Ginny and Georgia follows a mother-daughter duo who recently moved to a small town in New England, more specifically Wellsbury, Massachusetts, for a fresh start. Georgia Miller, played by Brianne Howey, finds herself face-to-face with her dark past however, covering up the threats and blackmail that have come to visit her in what she thought was a cozy small town.
While Season 2 left off on some significant cliffhangers (warning: spoilers ahead), Georgia Randolph (Miller) ends the Season handcuffed and taken away in a police car, just shortly after saying, “I do,” to new husband and town Mayor Paul Randolph, played by Scott Porter. Unfortunately, Georgia’s fairytale wedding is cut short when private investigator Gabriel Cordova (Alex Mallari Jr.) successfully uncovers the truth about Georgia Miller, leading to her arrest.
Now, what does Season 3 entail? Well, according to Netflix, the show’s producer, Sarah Gilinski says, “It’s incredibly complex, filled with lots of love but also lots of pain. This Season, we’ll see it evolve in unexpected ways. These women don’t start and end the Season the same people” (Bitran). The new Season is said to be jam-packed with love and heartbreak, new characters, and more drama within the Miller family.
Netflix has also announced that the series will welcome two new members to the cast: Ty Doran and Noah Lamanna. Doran set to play one of Ginny’s classmates in her poetry class, and Lamanna set to play a friend of Marcus and Silver.
Netflix’s original series, Ginny and Georgia, will be returning to Netflix on June 5th.
