Wallace and Gromit Return to Screens
Good grief, Gromit, a new movie already?!
Yes, that’s right, a new Wallace and Gromit movie has been released on Netflix, titled; Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Originally airing in the UK in 2024 and being transferred internationally by Netflix in 2025, this movie contains the same old charm as the pure claymation animation genre of films the series has made. The same old humor, the engaging plots, and its dastardly villains.
Vengeance Most Fowl follows Gromit as he slowly realizes that Wallace, an eccentric inventor, has made a robot that could take care of everything… making Gromit replaceable. However, an old villain from The Wrong Trousers returns, causing chaos within the city. Now it’s up to both man and dog to stop him before the blue diamond is stolen, and Wallace finds himself in jail.
There’s so much to unpack here, the music is as charming as always, as well as a whole boatload of jokes and running gags within the film. Of course, you might have to watch The Wrong Trousers to get the full picture of what is going on, but even if you haven’t, the film does an excellent job of bringing the viewer up to speed. It is rather impressive that the creators of the original series and Chicken Run could make such an amazing film with pure stop-motion clay. This movie is a must-see 10 out of 10, and it is free on Netflix. So, pull up a seat, get some cheese and crackers, and enjoy it the best you can.
