Your Guide to Housing 2025-2026!
Spring has certainly sprung alright, and everyone knows what that can mean only one thing! The 2025-2026 housing plans have arrived! …Wait, you thought that that meant Spring weather? Well, it sort of does. While the housing process may seem easy, it can be easy to get swept away with the spring rain if you don’t pay attention. That’s where this article comes into play!
The first, and probably most important step, is to pay your housing deposit and join the process. The deposit itself is a $250 pre-payment towards the Fall 2025 bill that can be paid either at your e-bill, calling student accounts at 508-531-1225, or by bringing a check to the Student Accounts office in Boyden 107.
With that out of the way, you can then log into the student housing portal and complete the options under ‘Housing Selection – 2025-2026.’ Here, students can select important housing aspects such as room preference, LLCs, and meal plans. This part is probably the easiest as it guides you through; however, BE SURE TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU PICK! Last year, I ran into trouble with housing selection due to forgetting to add an LLC, and that led to a lot of problems. Afterwards, students can select roommates by searching for who they wish to share a room with.
Once everything has been completed, all there is to do now is wait for everyone’s favorite part, the room selection time lottery. Students will be told of their selection times on April 4 at 10:00 a.m., and the selection times begin on April 8th and go to April 12th. This time slot can be viewed on the ‘Housing Selection Next Steps’ page.
