2025-26 MLB Season Underway

With opening day in the books, the Boston Red Sox started their season out with a bang. 

On the first game of the season, Boston was tied with the Texas Rangers heading into the 9th inning. A three-run home run by Outfielder Wilyer Abreu, which was his second home run of the game, secured the win.

However, The team would go on to lose three straight against the Rangers.

The Sox went back to winning ways in their home opener, as they beat the St. Louis Cardinals 13-9, scoring five runs in the first inning alone.

The Sox are 6-5 as of April 8, putting us right in the middle of the American League East division.

There were plenty of other notable opening day games this year as well. The Dodgers celebrated their World Series win with stars like Ice Cube and Billie Jean King, before beating the Tigers 5-4.

The Orioles started their season off well too, delivering a 12-2 blowout against the Blue Jays that saw them score three runs in three different innings.  

The best preforming team so far are the Dodgers unsurprisingly, with a current standing of nine wins with three losses. The worst preforming team is the Atlanta Braves, with them having lost eight of their first nine games.
