Red Sox Look to Finish 2025 Regular Season Strong

In their most recent series, the Sox took the final game of their three-game set against the Yankees on September 14, 6–4, behind a dominant performance from ace Garrett Crochet. His twelve strikeouts and solid bullpen work helped Boston swing momentum back their way in a series they ended up losing.
Boston now has twelve games left on its schedule. Their upcoming slate includes a three-game home series against the Athletics (September 16–18), followed by a three-game road trip to Tampa Bay (September 19–21), then a three-game series at Toronto (September 23–25), before wrapping up the season at Fenway with a three-game set against the Detroit Tigers (September 26–28).
Having gone 6-6 so far in September, the last four series will be crucial not only in terms of seeding but also in terms of momentum going into the post-season. With Boston 5.5 games behind Toronto for the AL East lead, Manager Alex Cora has emphasized that his team is focused on finishing strong and taking things one game at a time, rather than getting ahead of itself by looking too far into October.
