BSU Majors as Fall Activities

It’s the perfect time for fall activities—as well as exploring Bridgewater’s many majors. Let’s take a behind-the-scenes look at the majors offered, as well as some inspiration for fall festivities!

Aviation Sciences as Fall Hikes

Take to the skies by entering one of the leading aviation science programs in the country! Expand your horizons, and explore beyond the Bridgewater campus, similar to a fall hike. The BSU Aviation program provides flight training, as well as Aviation management classes, encouraging knowledge from the classroom to the airplane. If you’re looking to connect with nature, also check out one of the Great Hill hiking trails around campus!

Art Majors as Painting Pumpkins

Unlock your inner artist this fall season by exploring a few of our different art concentrations! BSU offers everything in the art realm from an art education concentration to a crafts concentration. If you’re a resident like myself and can’t carve pumpkins, try painting them! Not only is it a (slightly) cleaner alternative, but it also unleashes your creative side.

Physical Education as Attending a Football Game

Bridgewater is known for its education majors, but did you know that we have a physical education major too? Become involved in the physical activity offered by BSU in the classroom as well as supporting our Bears by attending a football game! Evolve your knowledge of the fine and gross motor skills through the phys-ed major.

Film as Watching Fall Movies

Lastly, let’s explore Bridgewater’s film studies major. Get involved with the film scene, and indulge in fall films by exploring our opportunities for students in film at BSU. Saturday, November 1, The Filmmakers Society (FMS) will be holding a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show, a cult classic fall movie. Connect with people in the film major, as well as expanding your knowledge in the production scene!
