2026 Impact Awards
On Monday, April 27, in the Rondileau Student Union Large Ballroom from 6:00–7:30 PM, the 2026 Impact Awards will recognize student leaders, organizations, and staff who have made a positive impact on the BSU community.
Students submit nominations honoring individuals and peers who have actively contributed to making the best of student involvement. Every nominee brings something different to the awards, and the ceremony provides a celebration of accomplishment and proactiveness by students and staff.
The Impact Awards aim to highlight students, student organizations, and advisors who have made an impact on campus through peer nominations. Impact Awards intern and past recipient Nina Hamel says, “We want to take the time to highlight individuals and groups who have contributed to the campus in positive ways and share their impact with the BSU community.”
The Impact Awards bring individuals in all sectors of campus involvement together with one common goal: making the most out of the student experience. The ceremony creates a place for student organizations to come together, celebrating the accomplishments made by one another on campus.
Within the Impact Awards, recognition ranges from individual awards to student organizations, events, and student advisors. The event will also recognize the recipients of scholarships, including the Fred & Carrie Kulick-Clark scholarship honoring student leaders.
The event will include a pre-ceremony celebration hosted by the Center for Student Engagement (RSU 103) from 4:30–5:45 PM. Keep in mind that the nomination form closes March 27, and make sure to keep an eye out regarding nomination letters to find out if you have been nominated for an Impact Award.
