What a DRAG!

If you weren’t in the RSU Ballroom Thursday, March 19 from 8:00–10:00 PM, then honey, you missed out! Our very own Program Council and Resident Hall Association had its annual Drag Show that marked the beginning of Bristaco’s Bucket List. Let’s just say there was nothing to drag your feet about when it came to Thursday’s show!

Not only did we have three wonderful returning acts who reign supreme over BSU, but this year, we also had two new wonderful student performers who served us looks and vocals to die for. With her entertaining take on the already eccentric Chappell Roan, we had our very own Chappell Moan make a bold appearance, following the energetic solo served by Alondra O.C.!

Chanel The Angel took the stage, giving us Lush Life realness and even allowing some of our very own Program Council e-board members onstage to synchronize a dazzling dance!

Izzy Ready? Well, I don’t know about him, but I was ready for all the hilarious theatrics that Izzy was throwing our way. From the bold dance moves to the haughty innuendos, Izzy Ready’s performance was nothing short of unforgettably entertaining.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a BSU Drag Show without the oh-so-popular Candace Persuasion! Her performance alongside two of BSU’s D’Afrique dance members was nothing short of, well, Gnarly

If you missed the show this year, never fret! The drag show is an annual event that happens each spring, so make sure you tune in next year to get your socks knocked off!
