A Guide to BSU Dining

Finding the best dining plan for you can be a struggle. This article will serve as a guide to all things BSU dining!

Starting with dining our halls, BSU has four main dining halls on campus, as well as a Starbucks and a Dunkin’.

Crimson Dining (our late-night option) and Bears Den take strictly dining dollars. At Bears, you can find a variety of grab-and-go options and some of my personal favorite stations on campus, such as Semolina’s where you can build your own pasta bowl. Crimson (open Sunday–Thursday, 5:00–11:00 PM) is a food-court-style hall where you can find staple foods like hamburgers, fries, and pizza, as well as a Chipotle-style burrito station. If you’re an ice cream fanatic such as myself, you can also check out 32 Degrees at Crimson to customize your own ice cream dish or sundae.

The Dunkin’ located at East Campus Commons is equipped with the full menu including seasonal drinks, it is a delicious and accessible option for students and staff. It is not your typical Dunkin’ as it doesn’t take gift cards or use mobile points, although it does take dining dollars. The Starbucks located at the Maxwell Library has a full drink menu with food provided by BSU’s catering service, Sodexo. BSU offers a Grubhub service, where you can mobile order ahead. This is a great option for when you want to pick up a coffee or refresher before an early morning class.

Flynn and East Campus Commons (ECC) Dining are the two buffet-style meal swipe options on campus. Both have a variety of rotating food options as well as allergy-friendly options. ECC is equipped with a Simple Servings Station which is free of the top nine food allergens.

When looking at what meal plan is the best fit for you, evaluate what you would use the most. BSU has all dining dollar plans, all meal swipe plans, and multiple combinations of both. Don’t be fooled though, you can convert dining dollars to meal swipes at either of our buffet style dining halls.

Expand your palette and explore your options with BSU dining!
