What Is the EngageBSU App?
Want an easy way to know what’s on your schedule or what events are happening? Look no further than the EngageBSU app! It’s free to download through your phone’s app store and is your one-stop shop for finding out how and when to engage in on-campus events. It also is useful in finding out what resources are on campus.
On the home page, you can find various suggested events that are upcoming. It also displays what groups you are a part of as well. So, on my home page, for example, it will display The Comment, since I am—well—a member of The Comment. You can also see the campus schedule, such as when exams begin.
In the “Campus Guide” section, accessible at the bottom, academic resources like the Academic Achievement Center (AAC) and the BSU Bookstore are available. You can also find health and wellness resources such as counseling, BSU’s CARE Team, uWill Teletherapy, and the Center for Student Support.
The “Events” section is your guide to knowing which events are when. This can be on any day of the week, regardless of who is organizing it—Program Council, a student organization, the EXCEL Program—the list goes on. These events go on across the semester. These events can be anything from religious gatherings like Catholic Masses on Sundays to sports games.
The “Discover” tab allows you to look into the various groups on campus and people you may know. So, if you make a new friend on campus and don’t know what their social media is, then ask them where you can find them on the app! There is also a “Chat” section where you can search the chats that you have made. Whatever you use it for, the EngageBSU app can be a very useful tool as you undergo the journey here at BSU!
