Bridgewater Town Manager Under Investigation
The town council in Bridgewater has hired a law firm to conduct an investigation into town manager Justin Casanova-Davis over abuse of vacation time during his time working in the town of Norfolk. The Office of the Inspector General (OIG), recently accused Casanova-Davis of “a failure of leadership” in addition to vacation time abuse.
The council has met three times since the situation arose. At this time, Casanova-Davis’ employment status is that he is not on any sort of administrative leave with the town of Bridgewater per employees of his.
According to the OIG, Casanova-Davis went to nine different countries in less than three years while employed as Norfolk’s town administrator.
On multiple occasions, the OIG reported Casanova-Davis took sick time while abroad. Casanova-Davis also compiled $5,300 by the time he left his job in Norfolk by not using vacation time.

Why wasn’t a full investigation performed before he was hired by the Town of Bridgewater?
