Cheap Chic: Make a Statement

Fashion isn’t just all about the clothing, but accessories as well. When you’re putting an outfit together, it isn’t enough to just decide to wear jeans or a skirt.
Instead of looking plain and boring, adding some stylish jewelry will really make your outfit pop. Here are some different ways on how to accessorize your look.
Necklaces are great pieces to transform your outfit into a stylish, trendy look that will make you look like you walked right out of a magazine. The key to finding the perfect piece really depends on what top you’re wearing. A bib necklace will go perfectly with a blouse or button down top. The one I have pictured is from Forever21.
For a crew neck top, pair it with a trendy statement necklace. You also can’t go wrong with a collared necklace, which will give you the sophisticated look of a blouse without the bulk. A long chain or layered necklaces goes really well with a turtleneck.
If you are looking for more ways to accessorize, layered jewelry, including rings and bracelets, is a great way to take your look to a whole new level of style. Even adding a simple or single bracelet or large ring will create the same bold look.
The great thing about jewelry is that there are various styles that will get you noticed without blowing your account. Stores like Forever21 and H&M not only have a great selection of jewelry, but you’ll be amazed by the prices. For even more ways to save, thrift shops and consignment stores always have new or previously owned jewelry. Not only is there usually a large selection, but you will find amazing jewelry at affordable prices, and in great condition.
If you are a lover of label and designer jewelry there’s no need to worry. T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, and Burlington Coat Factory always provides a variety of jewelry at almost half the regular price. So you can have the latest fashion trends without paying retail prices.
Besides the fact that they are the final touches of perfecting your outfit, jewelry is actually a good investment in fashion. As long as you take good care of them, jewelry could last for years. Even the most inexpensive costume jewelry could last longer than you expect. Jewelry is also versatile, so you could wear them in multiple looks or styles, no matter what the occasion is.
You should buy accessories that are within your budget, but get the ones that really creates the statement that you want to make. The most important thing to remember when buying the perfect accessories is to create a look that is perfect for you. Be unique, be creative, and above all be yourself.
